Meet Michele Custer, CRNP

Michele Custer, originally from the Lehigh Valley moved away to Florida for several years before finding her way back home to the Allentown area to work at OAA. She has always enjoyed working with and helping others so combining that with her fascination with medicine, nursing was a natural career choice. Michele has received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nursing from DeSales University where she then went into a career in general surgery and treating patients with acute and chronic pain. 
Michele will be joining OAA in our Work Injury Center with a focus on Workers Compensation and evaluative care for all OAA

Michele was extremely excited to join the OAA family because of the shared values that she and the organization share. “While being the leading orthopaedic practice in the area, OAA does not feel like a big institution and the treatment plans are all individualized based on the patients’ direct needs,” said Michele. She is very excited to work with all of the physicians here at OAA and really getting to know her patients and their stories in order to help them get through their most difficult times and restoring their quality of life.
In her free time Michele enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
